Our research has shown that most Organizations already own a video camera that they are comfortable using. Therefore, we do not include a camera with our system.
If you do plan on utilizing your current camera, it must have a remote function. Sony utilizes a A/VR (audio/video remote) port located on some of their video cameras. The audio, video and remote function (zoom, record start/stop, and power on/off) are all used while your video camera is evelvated. Canon and Panasonic utilize a LANC port to control the remote function (zoom, record start/stop, and power on/off). Video is sent through a seperate port on the camera to the monitor. Remember, not all video cameras have this function.
With the provided cables, the video from the camera is shown on the provided monitor. The operator now has a view of what the elevated video camera is recording for the best video possible. The operator can pan right or left, tilt up or down, and zoom in or out.
Please let us know which video camera you plan on using so we can provided the matched cables needed.
